If Obama is elected would that be cause for our laws to be repealed on the illegality of drugs?

Our government has preached about the damage and destruction of illegal drugs on a person- their reason for making them illegal to 'protect' us- then how can they use this arguement if a self proclaimed Drug user and abuser is elected President?
