Will Smallvile wind up next season?

My favorite show is Smallville. Which may be surprising because I'm not a teenager. I missed a few in the season before this one that just wrapped, but I got back to watching it regularly this season. I was wondering if next season is poised to become the final, or is it indefinite on how long it will run.
