Any tips on booking a tour in Peru?

I am going to Machu Picchu this summer with my mom and a friend and I would advise that you organize every detail of your trip to Machu Picchu ASAP. It is very hard to get in there because only a certain amount of visitors are allowed to enter each day. My mom had booked everything months in advance to make sure that we get it. Also, I have gone to the Amazonian rain forest but I did not go on a tour, I went with my family in a rental car. However, although we are Peruvian, we were still robbed because I had not listened to my parents and had refused to speak in Spanish. Therefore, Irecommendd that you DO go with a tour.
